After a month of search through books and websites I’ve finally nailed down my wedding’s style as “elegant garden”. The ceremony and reception will take place on a French-style manor and I can’t wait to start planning the little details! I’m hoping for lots of inspiration both from Elegance & Simplicity possibly and the DCCWC Brial Show!

How exciting!
My wedding is going to be in Shenandoah National Park, on top of a mountain, in the afternoon in late September. I hope it will be gorgeous! Shenandoah has such a special place in our hearts, and we are so excited to have a lovely weekend there with a small group (about 50) of our family and closest friends. There will be hiking and nature talks, a bonfire after the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony in a little outdoor amphitheater surrounded by autumn trees, the reception in a beautiful historic stone hall…I’m really, really excited.
That beautiful cotton gown would sure fit the setting too
