What is so amazing is that we knew it was going live that day about the week before and none of us had any idea of the exact day when the ruling would be in the Supreme Court – kinda gave us chills!
Stefanie & Sonia came from Alabama so they could get married legally in DC…because it is not legal in the state of Alabama.
We have always done commitment ceremonies and receptions and we celebrated when DC and Maryland made same-sex weddings legal. Now – we are thrilled for our same-sex married couples that they now get the legal recognition from the federal level.
To us – a wedding is about two people who love each other getting married…period. We are always honored when we have the privilege to be a part of anyone’s wedding day!
