First and foremost, please know that this is the LEAST of your worries.  Your biggest footprint of the wedding day is your transportation (getting all your guests to your wedding from around the DC area and around the world) and then your food. However – I wanted to send some good news on the fashion front.  I found a great website today (through twitter) on finding eco-friendly shoes – not only for your wedding, but for every day life.

What this wonderful blogger has done is genius and has saved a bunch of people time and money. She has scoured the internet, or does on a daily basis for the cutest looking shoes all over the world that are eco-friendly.

Everyone has their own style and taste for their shoes on their wedding day.  The key is to take your time. If you want your shoes to have some personality – do they have to be white?  Silver or gold?  Many gowns cover shoes anyway – why not have fun shoes or even comfortable shoes?  You can have both heels and flats for your wedding!  Try to select shoes that you may actually wear again.  However – you can always keep the shoes for your future daughter or sell them on ebay after!  Donating your shoes is also an option.

Oh – the Kate Spade ring and bangle – love the color!!!!!!!!!!

And since I can’t wear high heels at weddings while I work – all my purple bound brides should have their rehearsal dinner dress complete with these Kate Spade shoes or have the bridemaids indulge in them for the wedding day! How yummy!

If you want fantastic ceremony, cocktail or dinner music – you must hire Chris Dunn!
