OK – I rarely speak up about first dance songs. People tend to gravitate to the oldies but goodies, classics, recent love songs (in all genres). However, I heard this song at a wedding this past weekend. It was funny, it was not even a wedding that I planned or had a hand in. It was at a small restaurant in Old Town Alexandria, about 10-15 people were present for this small reception. The wedding was all about two people so totally in love with each other. It truly reminded me why I love what I do: LOVE. Love is the reason. I love being in love with my husband and with my 1st wedding anniversary approaching, I find that I fall more in love with him each and very day…

It is a simple song about how we long for the one we love…It was perfect for this couple and I did not even know them. They were so cute dancing and kissing in each other’s arms. So here is a toast to the couple! – Katie Martin
