We have a few other fun venues that we really want to showcase…One of our new faves that we are loving is Co Co. Sala! Chocolate everywhere? Yes? Intimate spaces? Check? Rooftop terrace? Savory and sweet food to entice your guests? Yum! We love it so much we did our Anniversary Party there!
Love Capitol Hill – we have three faves there now – Eastern Market, The Hill Center and the Sewall-Belmont House! Eastern Market now rents out that open space hall for weddings and events! Run do not walk! The Hill Center (pictured above) is a space I discovered this year – absolutely lovely for an intimate wedding on Capitol Hill. The Sewall-Belmont House is all about women’s suffrage and a museum and a backyard space for smaller weddings.
Needing a hotel? We have a few that we adore in the city! Above is the Omni Shoreham…you have an outdoor gazebo space and that amazing terrace along with lush banquet rooms and plush hotel rooms for your guests. The Hotel Monaco has the amazing Paris Room right next door to the Verizon Center and you can get a pet fish for the night! Another Grand hotel is the Willard! All sorts of loveliness throughout this historic hotel – it gives off that Great Gatsby feel!. The Hay-Adams Hotel is gorgeous with a rooftop overlooking the White House! Finally – we would be remiss if we did not mention The Mandarin Oriental – a gorgeous and modern design with a little bit of outdoor setting to overlook the monuments!
