Two of my top 20 favorite weddings over the years have their anniversaries today.
Yes – they chose to have their weddings on 9/11…years after the tragic event.
Yes – both of these weddings were beautiful and yes they were stunning couples. Yes all the decor was lovely and they had gorgeous beautiful days with fantastic weather.
None of the decor and the beautiful weather was as important as the meaning behind these couples. The date was not going to deter them from proclaiming their love to everyone. They were not going to let terrorists claim that day every year. They claimed 9/11 as a day of love.
