Here is the 3rd and final blog post on Kate + Aaron’s Georgetown Affair!  I really want to focus on the decor details in this post as we really had so much fun creating a bunch of different designs for their wedding!  Kate’s fragrant bouquet was chock full of beautiful blossoms including garden roses, freesia, rosemary, delphinium and salal leaves.

Kate chose long tables to display all sorts of different types of centerpieces.  No table was the same and no arrangement was the same.  All she asked was for interesting white and green flowers to sprinkle down the center of the table! The above centerpiece held simple blooms of white hydrangea with salal leaves.

Along the center of each table we added floating candles mixed in with the bride’s own votive candles.

I love using rosemary with wedding flowers (especially in our vintage cups), as they are a sign of fidelity.  We also adore it when color from food (like the lime in the water) can add that extra pop to a tablescape!  Main Event Caterers did such a fabulous job at Dumbarton House that day!

Kate and Aaron chose white lanterns for their lighting along with the uplighting and beautiful tent provided by Sugar Plum.  Planning and designing this beautiful event was easy with clients that had such beautiful taste!

Congrats to Kate + Aaron!
